[00:00:37]
[00:00:37]
[00:00:39] Following on from last week's episode on on page SEO, let's take a look at off page SEO, especially as it's a great way to effortlessly boost your website's, SEO, the marketing you are already doing, while also increasing trust with your ideal So without further ado, let's jump into off page [00:01:00] SEO.
[00:01:00] Off page SEO leverages your current marketing strategies and external online presence increase your website's, SEO. And some of the ways you can do this is through the following link, building and collaborations. This can come through reviews, backlinks, and authority building like the digital version of word of mouth.
[00:01:22] You can grow your digital presence, especially since Google has started indexing social media posts, but also Google can see how much engagement you're getting on your posts at the moment, so it can already see if you have a large presence on social media and if you've already built authority on there.
[00:01:43] You can also gain off page sEO through content marketing and by increasing clicks that way. this is by creating shareable posts, products and resources your clients and customers want to read and share with a friend and link to from their own [00:02:00] website.
[00:02:00] You can add links from your current marketing back to your website, from any platform that you're currently marketing on as well.
[00:02:09] And then the final dot point that I have is local SEO. This is particularly great for off page SEO.
[00:02:17] So Google My Business and Bing and business association pages in particular in the health and wellness space. there's usually quite a few association pages that you can share your information on and directories. So this could be anything from an industry platform that shares information on your particular niche or directories yellow Pages or True Local and things like that.
[00:02:46] All of these are fantastic for off page SEO. Another easy way to do this is to give your audience options of different ways that they can find your different marketing channels.
[00:02:59] [00:03:00] Always link back to your website from that marketing channel so you create hype for your website or for that particular topic or keyword word. You could try some of these.
[00:03:10] These are particularly great at creating more links back to your website, your email signature. for this one, I like to have link to my website from my email signature, clients of mine have also linked their particular services that they offer or to promote a course , a product or a platform or anything like that. So you can get a little creative with this, but in the signature, you want to be able to offer your audience your core offering. And again, very similarly, your email newsletter. You know, you've written this beautiful email newsletter. Everyone's loving what they're reading, but at the bottom underneath where you sign off, I always link to two of my offerings.
[00:03:51] for me, it is my website design services and my SEO strategy services so that my audience know how they can work with me and click [00:04:00] through, especially if they've enjoyed that email newsletter of mine. Another way, which is what I've just mentioned before, which is your Google and Bing business listings.
[00:04:08] These are free. can link to your website from them. You can showcase your products, your services, your pictures, demonstrate why you are so good at what you do. And then there's also industry listings and association groups.
[00:04:22] If there are any free association platforms, register your business, add your website all of that good stuff. Same with any networking groups that you're a part of. Always make sure you've got a link to your website in your bio.
[00:04:36]
[00:04:36] If you are doing any press releases and media, maybe TV or radio interviews, always make sure that you share your website link, social media channels, and any other essential contact information. These are so important, just so then if anyone who hears you on those different platforms can easily get in touch with you and learn more about you.
[00:04:58] So if you're doing any guest [00:05:00] posting podcasting, make sure that you share with other person you're collaborating with your website, particular links regarding the topic that you're discussing, and of course, any social media or contact information .
[00:05:13] And then of course there's the offline marketing options as well, such as billboards and banners, A-frames, business cards, or digital contact card magazines and flyers and catalogs. Although people can't click on them. These are also great have your website on, so then people can see that you've got a website, they know what it's called.
[00:05:34] Alternatively, can add QR code to your offline marketing, so people can then easily scan, get in contact with you, link directly to your website or landing page that you want them to go to learn more about you that way.
[00:05:47] You can be strategic with what page you want to guide people to and create hype for that particular page or keyword. So then Google can notice that you're getting a high amount of people visiting that page and boost up in search engines because it's [00:06:00] providing value. Another important factor in creating more SEO this way is to ensure that you use only one business name across all of your different online marketing platforms.
[00:06:11] From your website and social media accounts and any other marketing that you do, please just try and use the one same consistent name everywhere. This is more about being easily searchable and as I said before, consistent with your marketing and creating a better customer experience. Because when you use different business names or spellings across different platforms, it will confuse your customers.
[00:06:36] Another thing I should mention when it comes to off page SEO is that Google particularly likes it when you show your audience experience that they can expect by working with you.
[00:06:46] You are able to demonstrate your expertise within your industry, your authority in business, particular skill, or your knowledge in that industry.
[00:06:57] And also how trustworthy you are to [00:07:00] work with and this has been demonstrated by past clients through reviews or case studies. So this is actually an algorithm that's called EEAT and that's stands for Experience, Expertise, Authoritiveness and Trustworthiness.
[00:07:16] Google has shared that websites that clearly show each of these factors well. Actually rank better. I'll go into EEAT a little bit more in a future episode.
[00:07:26] But I just thought I would touch on that now, so you're aware that this also has an impact on off page SEO as well. Okay. I'm gonna leave it here for today. So if you've enjoyed this podcast and you know someone else who wants to learn SEO, please share it with a friend.
[00:07:39] Until next time, see you then. Bye.
